in The Center for American and International Law is available
to individuals, businesses, and organizations, including government
agencies. Both individual and business members receive a tuition
reduction for almost all Center programs and business members
may send multiple representatives to each program.

Institutes. For more information about the Institutes, click

Institute
for International and Comparative Law
Membership
in the Institute for International
and Comparative Law (IICL) is available to individuals,
corporations, law firms, and other organizations. Dues begin
at $1,000 and members may choose among categories of membership.
Each member may appoint a representative to the Institutes
Advisory Board*, and may send at least two representatives
to the Symposium on International Law at no tuition
cost. Members at the $2,500 and above level may also select
a candidate to receive a full or partial tuition fellowship
to the six-week Academy of
American and International Law.
Institute for Transnational Arbitration
Membership
in the Institute for Transnational Arbitration (ITA) is available to individuals, corporations, law firms, government agencies and other organizations.
The annual cost of dues begins at $650. Each member may appoint
a representative to the Institutes Advisory Board*,
and, depending on the membership level, may send one or more
additional persons to the Annual Transnational Arbitration
Workshop at no cost. Members also receive the
publication News and Notes, which includes the Scoreboard
of Adherence to Transnational Arbitration Treaties,
and reduced prices for ITA video products. Supporting or Sustaining Members of the Institute may also
send an unlimited number of additional persons to the Institutes programs
at a reduced tuition rate.
Institute
for Energy Law
Membership in the
Institute for Energy Law (IEL)
is available to individuals, corporations, law firms, government agencies and other organizations. The annual cost of dues begins at $650. Each
member may appoint a representative to the Institute's Advisory Board*, and, depending on the membership level, may send one or more additional persons to the Annual Oil & Gas Law Conference at no cost. Members also receive a 10% discount on IEL/Matthew Bender publications: The Oil and Gas Reporter and the Proceedings of the Oil and Gas Law Program. Supporting or Sustaining Members of the Institute may also
send an unlimited number of additional persons to the Institutes programs
at a reduced tuition rate.
Institute
for Local Government Studies
Membership in the Institute
for Local Government Law (ILGS)
is available to municipalities, law firms , individuals, and
other organizations or government agencies. Dues for municipalities
vary according to their size. The principal benefit of membership
is the opportunity to send representatives to the annual Institute
on Planning,
Zoning and Eminent Domain at a greatly reduced
tuition.
Institute
for Law Enforcement Administration
Membership
in the Institute
for Law Enforcement Administration (ILEA)
is available to law enforcement agencies, municipalities,
law firms, and other organizations or government agencies.
Dues vary depending upon the size and classification of the
member and members receive reduced tuition rates for the Institutes
programs.
Institute
for Law and Technology
Membership
in the
Institute for Law and Technology (ILT)
is available to individuals, corporations, law firms, government agencies and other organizations. The annual cost of dues begins at $650. Each
member may appoint a representative to the Institute's Advisory Board*, and, depending on the membership level, may send one or more additional persons to the Annual Intellectual Property Law Conference at no cost. Supporting or Sustaining Members of the Institute may also
send an unlimited number of additional persons to the Institutes programs
at a reduced tuition rate.
*The
Advisory Board representative may attend most programs of
the Center at no tuition cost.
